We are not defined by a service to a target demographic, but by an approach which is driven by the community itself. We foster connection, belonging, participation and inclusion. The Centre welcomes everyone and works hard to build connection between individuals and organisation, particularly those who are isolated, vulnerable, and disenfranchised. Our Centre offers many funded and centre-funded programs to encourage people to connect and engage in community activities. We are local people who live in and are passionate about our community. We believe a Connected Community is a Well Community, and we strive to ensure that the Mount Isa Neighbourhood Centre is a hub that supports our community’s needs.
