We offer financial assistance in the form of money vouchers for people in a crisis. We understand that being in a crisis is uncontrollable, and things can happen unexpectedly. If you and your family are in need, ring us on a Friday to secure your voucher and collect on a Monday.

No-Interest Loans

No-Interest Loans (NILS) allow you to borrow up to $2000 for essential goods such as household items, car registration and repairs, technology and more. If eligible, we can help you fill out an application. Contact us for more information.

FAQ

We provide those in a crisis financial assistance in the form of money vouchers. People need to call us on a Friday to put their name down, where they can then collect a voucher the following Monday. We ask this so we know how many vouchers are needed for the Monday. You will need to provide Photo ID and CRN card.

We have a 4 month waiting period, where we cannot supply another voucher within 4 months, with the exception of extreme circumstance.

To apply for a NILS loan, we require a list of documentation that you need to obtain before booking an appointment. These include:

  • 3 forms of ID.
  • Centrelink Income and Deductions statement.
  • Rent statement.
  • Latest electricity bill.
  • If relevant, phone and gas bills.
  • 3 months bank statements from all bank accounts (must be recent).
  • Quotes for all items that you’re wanting to purchase.

You can apply for a NILS loan if you:

  • Earn less than $70,000 annual income (before tax) as a single person or $100,000 annual income (before tax) if you have a partner or children,
  • Or have experienced family or domestic violence in the last 10 years,
  • Or have a health Care Card/Pension Card,
  • And can show you can afford to repay the loan.

Every month, we hold different Art Events available for all ages. Our artistically skilled team runs numerous art programs at the centre. We ask for a small $5 donation when participating in our events which goes towards supplying the Art Room with the appropriate and necessary materials and equipment.

We hold classes for the following aged-groups:

  • 5 to 9 years,
  • Over 10 years,
  • Over 16 years,
  • And over 18 years.
